We have supported families from across Cambridgeshire and beyond.
To help us understand the impact we are having, we collect data about the items families are taking from the Baby Bank, as well as feedback from the families we support.
Below is just a snapshot of what we have done so far this year. These figures are updated at the end of every month (last updated August 2024).
Many families visit us regularly to find essential items for their babies and meet other families from the community. We are open twice a week and welcome around 70 families at each session.
Almost all of our stock is donated by the local community for reuse, reducing waste and promoting recycling of perfectly usable items which might otherwise have ended up in landfill.
Thanks to our supermarket partnerships, the generosity of the community, and some small grants, we were able to distribute essential milk supplies to families in the greatest need.
Most of our nappies are kindly donated by the community and local businesses. We provide all sizes from size 0 up to size 8.
We have a lovely book shed filled with books for parents and babies. Toys are popular with our families and put big smiles on babies' faces.
Pushchairs can be very expensive to buy and are always in high demand at the Baby Bank. Many come in and get rehomed on the same day!
We are based in Fordham, Cambridgeshire, but we also reach hundreds of families across Norfolk, Suffolk, and further afield too.
If you need support from a baby bank but are not within easy reach of us, you can use the interactive map on the Baby Bank Alliance website to find one near you.
